Since our commencement in 1972 IRAS PTY LTD has been assisting employers with all aspects of employment legislation in NSW.  This was able to be achieved with great effect with the introduction of our loose leaf publication service known as the "IRAS".


In 1992 IRAS PTY LTD cut all ties, affiliations and collaboration with any other Industrial Organisation, Group or Company and became a single entity focusing entirely on its own subscribers. It was at this time we entered into our next phase of growth by further assisting employers in expanding the scope of the IRAS.

The IRAS loose leaf service is still expanding as we recognise the importance of making available information that is easy to read and understand and as “is in black and white”.

In 1993 to further increase the effectiveness of the IRAS service we decided that it needed to be accompanied with a telephone advisory service. The telephone advisory service has given us the opportunity of using our Industrial Relations experience and knowledge gained as employer representative for a number of industries as award negotiators and Industrial Representatives before both State and Federal Tribunals.

We can help subscribers with all manner of employment relations problems from the very simple to the very complex.

In 1998 we issued a new "IRAS" loose leaf binder with increased employment content.

Over the next 6 years we introduced  new employment Sections dealing with Parental Leave, Termination and Superannuation.

At the beginning of 2006 we commenced a NEWS AND INFORMATION SERVICE forwarded by either fax or email for up to 4 people at no additional cost to the Annual Subscription.


With the introduction of the Federal Governments Work Choices reforms IRAS PTY LTD  has again adapted to a new environment of Industrial Relations changes and continues to be an informed advisor.


In 2007 due to the complexities and what seems endless amount of information we have moved to the next medium for assisting subscribers, an IRAS Website. This Website will also continue to expand allowing employers a reference point for links on Industrial Relations issues and legislation without having to spend countless hours of employees time searching the internet.

We anticipate the due to the volume of the information that will be made available to employers clarification and interpretation will be needed, IRAS PTY LTD is here to help.

In 2008 we re-issued a new "BLUE IRAS" LOOSE LEAF SERVICE. The new service appears in an A4 Format, double sided with much larger print and Tabs denoting the contents of the 14 Sections and 2 History Tabs.


Employers needing any assistance in either the Federal or State industrial Relations systems or with its managerial employees can not go wrong by seeking our advice. Our longevity and commitment to our subscribers is reflected in the continuing renewal subscriptions of the IRAS.

We have targeted 2009 for 3 new Sections for the loose leaf service, Discrimination Equal Employment Opportunities, Disciplinary Procedures and Recruitment.

 

All information and documentation received by IRAS PTY LTD from subscribers is strictly confidential.

Our aim is to provide employers with an A TO Z of employment requirements and conditions that they must meet to deal with day to day Industrial Relations issues.
